Open Events 2010/2011
Open Evening: Thursday 30th September 2010
4pm - 8pm: The Sixth Form Suite will be open as well as with the rest of the Senior School for you to come and see. Staff and students will be available to talk about life in the Marist Sixth Form.
Open Evening (Sixth Form only): Wednesday 13th October 2010
6pm-8pm: Come and find out what makes The Marist Sixth Form unique. Subject teachers will be available to talk about AS and A2 opportunities as well as the Director of Sixth Form, Mrs Liz Borwell, and our current students.

Open Events
The Marist Sixth Form holds an Open Evening during the Autumn term which all prospective students and parents are welcome to attend. Open Events provide an opportunity to tour the Sixth Form, to gain an overview of the subjects taught and to meet Sixth Form staff. Please call the school on 01344 624291 for details and date of the next planned event.
To gain admission to the Marist Sixth Form a student should:
- Complete an Application Form and return it to the Director of Sixth Form indicating GCSE subjects to be taken. Inform the Director of Sixth Form of subjects for intended study at AS and A2 level.
- Show aptitude and suitability for the subjects to be continued as indicated in the Sixth Form Handbook and a commitment to the Marist Sixth Form programme.
- Receive a letter from the Director of Sixth Form confirming a place on receipt of GCSE results.
- Accept the school's aims and objectives which underpin the core values of the Sixth Form.
- Admission is conditional on financial obligations to your current school being fully discharged.
