ICT (Information Communications Technology)

The Marist is proud of its ICT curriculum. We encourage pupils to commence building their ICT skills portfolio from the beginning of year 7 when they undertake a keyboarding course. This is followed by the development of their practical skills in a variety of software programs that will support and enhance their work across all curriculum areas.

From Year 8, pupils embark upon a range of ICT skills qualifications which will equip them with a professional level of competency for higher education and beyond.  We offer a flexible approach, keeping abreast of current ICT thinking and adapt our curriculum accordingly.

ICT Club runs Monday to Friday lunch times and after school 2 days a week until 5pm for the purpose of homework and support.  It is especially useful for pupils who do not have access at home to the software used in school.  All pupils are welcome to attend.
