Enrichment Weeks
During the spring term each year, we hold a special themed enrichment week that all our girls participate in. Over the past ten years these weeks have included science weeks, book weeks, one world weeks and thinking weeks. The aim is to provide extra learning opportunities and age specific challenges for the girls to enrich their education.
Our science weeks have included workshops and visits from doctors, scientists and zoologists to learn about the work they do. The girls participate in quizzes, learn about influential scientists and the contributions they have made to our global society. Book weeks have included visits and readings from children's authors and have also given the girls the opportunity to expand their own creative writing skills. During one world week the girls learn about the many different cultures and customs that exist in our beautiful and varied planet. We have been fortunate to have had visiting artists and dancers from different countries including Australia. The girls have enjoyed participating in different dance and art projects and always look forward to the highlight of the week which is dressing up on the final day and enjoying a 'themed' lunch!
