Early Years
The Early Years Department welcomes girls from 2½ to 5 years of age (part-time and full-time). Early Years is very much part of community life within the Preparatory School and joins the rest of the school for assemblies, concerts and Mass.
At the Marist we believe each child is unique; we give them positive and challenging experiences in an environment that is safe and secure. This enables children to have a sense of belonging and to build trusting relationships, both with practitioners and their peers. Through providing such an environment this develops the whole child.
Our aim is that each child will have firm foundations on which they can build upon as they move into Key Stage 1. Each child in our care will feel loved, valued and begin to develop key skills and a thirst for learning that will enable them to contribute further to life in the Preparatory School.
