The Marist Senior School congratulated its students and teachers again today as the DCSF performance tables were published.  The School’s GCSE & A Level performance is ranked amongst the top performing schools in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (*Source: The Times League Tables published 15th Jan 09).  With a GCSE points score of 578.90, the school is the 4th highest performing independent school in the UK (Source: The Telegraph, January 2009)

In 2008, 100% of Marist A Level students passed with 83% achieving A and B grades. GCSE students achieved 85% A*, A and B grades, and also enjoyed a 100% pass rate.  GCSE students Georgina Singer, Alex Kyjak-Lane, Guiseppina Magistro and Laura Fox performed exceptionally well and were among the top ten highest scoring students nationally in RE, Spanish and Italian.

Headmaster Mr Karl McCloskey commented, “I am delighted to hear these results as they again reflect the hard work and commitment shown by our students and their teachers” he added “I am proud that our students continue to excel in their examinations with four girls deservedly recognised as being amongst the highest national achievers.”
