12 June 2009
12 June, 2009: Miss Michelle Bowdidge from Thames Hospicecare visited the Marist Preparatory School to collect a cheque for £448 that had been raised by pupils and their families during a ‘Bag2School’ clothes and toys collection held last term. Year 5 pupils Rianna Monteagudo and Olivia Waldron encouraged the whole school to be involved in the clothes collection initiative to raise money for charity.
The hard work by the students and their families has helped Thames Hospicecare fund over 32 hours of specialist Hospice nursing care for local people with life-limiting illnesses.
