LOT A - HEADTEACHER MARIST SENIOR SCHOOL
The Marist Senior School is pleased to invite parents an opportunity to bid for their daughter to become Head Teacher for the Day. The lucky winner must be an existing pupil at The Marist Schools during the Summer Term and will be required to agree to the conditions discussed with Mr McCloskey during an initial meeting, whereby, date and full details of the Head Teachers responsibilities will be decided. Your daughter will be photographed throughout the day and presented with a framed collage of pictures to remember their special day.
The role of the Head Teacher for the day at the Senior School may include and is not limited to:

- Lead Assembly – Wear Academic Gown and present prizes/awards.
- Announce a special treat for the school.
- Open New Facility (Economics/Young Enterprise Room).
- Meet and greet pupils at start and end of the day.
- Interview children.
- Look at lessons.
- Write a press release.
- Make tea for office/support staff.
- Tour school facilities and note areas for improvement.
- Visit classrooms – participate in class discussions/Teacher observations.
- Recognise and commend the “Stars” on the staff.
- Write a newsletter article.
- Meet with Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl.
- Presentation of a Commemorative Award at the end of the day.
